Cheapest quote to fix substantial accidental damage to a classic C&R Eames lounge chair was several thousands pounds due to the complex repairs that needed to be carried out. These estimates were way beyond  my budget and it seemed I’d have to write off the chair. The  father/son team at Simpsons stepped up and were amazing. They approached the task as a puzzle to be solved . They didn’t give up when their initial solution wasn’t sufficient and using their ingenuity / knowledge/ craftsmanship they have restored the seat to its former glory ( at a fraction of the cost  proposed by others) . My wife decided to rearrange our dining room to a sitting room but our corner sofa, which we loved, was just too long to fit in the alcove. We decided reluctantly that we’d need to get a new sofa. On the off chance I made a few calls to local upholsterers to see if our existing sofa could be altered to fit the new room & thankfully Sampson’s joinery & upholstery obliged & we couldn’t be more happy with the results.
